Las Vegas Bingo Jackpots

In the two years of playing Bingo here in Las Vegas, I’ve noticed the old stereo type of the “gray haired old ladies” playing bingo just isn’t true anymore. While there are quite a few elderly people playing bingo there are also a lot of younger people playing the game.

I have seen young people in their early twenties stop in for a couple of late night sessions of bingo after a night of clubbing. Their tux’s and sexy dresses stand out a bit, but they are having fun and the jackpots available can be quite nice. There are of course still the elderly couples and widowers / widows that play bingo daily, but in my experience I would guess the average age to be more in the 40 - 50 year old range and of course all ages ranging from 21 up to people in their 90’s.

With cashball jackpots (a cashball is a special ball that is drawn at the beginning of each session, any bingo with the cashball as the last ball called wins the cashball jackpot for that session) ranging from a few hundred dollars up to $15,000 or so, make bingo quite appealing and it can be quite profitable. I have hit 4 cashballs in the past few months and my wife has hit a couple as well, they weren’t the huge cashball jackpots, but every win is nice to get.

The coverall jackpots known as Bonanza’s, Even Bettor, Dual daub, Double action… can be very large. Ranging from a few thousand dollars to over $100,000! I have been present when 5 of these jackpots have been won. The winners recieved from around $6,400 and just a few days ago $30,000, sigh I was cased for that one. $30k - not bad for the low cost to play bingo.

Bingo will cost you from $4 for the cheapest packs with 6 cards on each sheet, $8 - $12 for a small rainbow (16 cards per sheet) and up to over $100 to load a computer machine that does all the marking for you. I prefer the machines, but I don’t load it, I just buy a few cards in the machine with a few bonanzas in it as well.

No matter what your age, bingo can provide you with a fun filled evening of entertainment and you might even win some money while you are are at it!
